Alexander, better known as the beloved YouTuber Technoblade, captivated audiences with his engaging Minecraft content, exciting livestreams, and active involvement in prominent Minecraft tournaments and servers. Born on June 1, 1999, he started his main YouTube channel in 2013, primarily featuring gameplay on the popular minigame server Hypixel. His rise to fame began in 2019, and since then, he has gained an impressive following of 17.8 million subscribers. Sadly, Alexander was diagnosed with cancer in 2021, and after a brave fight, he passed away in June 2022 due to metastatic sarcoma.

Remarkably, even after his passing, Technoblade's channel experienced a surge from 10.7 million followers at the time of his death to 17.8 million. In the two years following his loss, his family shared three videos: the first was a long-awaited elbow reveal, fulfilling a promise Alexander made to unveil one of his elbows upon reaching 10 million subscribers. In 2024, on the day fans learned of Technoblade's passing, TommyInnit, one of his closest friends, released a heartfelt new video featuring fresh footage of Alexander, edited in a way that made it appear as though he had crafted it himself.

Following the surge in popularity from Minecraft Monday, Alexander received an invitation to participate in MCC, the premier Minecraft tournament renowned for its competitive spirit.In this event, teams of four YouTubers faced off in seven different minigames, with the victorious team earning a golden coin in-game. Technoblade showcased his exceptional skills and deep understanding of the game, so much so that the tournament administrators had to revise the rules multiple times to keep the competition fair.

Technoblade was followed and admired by many, celebrated for his exceptional PvP skills and unique sense of humour. Unlike many other YouTubers, Alexander stayed true to himself, allowing his authentic personality to shine through. His blend of sarcasm and seriousness created an intriguing dynamic, leaving many viewers guessing whether he was joking or being sincere. This genuine approach endeared him to his audience, making him a standout figure in the gaming community.

The passing of Technoblade left countless people heartbroken, as the news of Alexander'sAfter Alex's death, his family, with the help of his closest friends, created his most famous video, which has been viewed 111 million times, in which Technoblade's dad talks to fans and says how grateful he is for their support of Techno throughout everything, even though he barely uploaded anything because of his deteriorating condition. Technodad (the name Technoblade's fans gave his father) ends the video by reading a letter Alex wrote to his fans hours before he died. The title of the video is Technoblade's message to his fan base: SO LONG NERDS.
