The NOVA Open is the ultimate tabletop adventure in the Washington, DC area! We bring together organized play, charity quests, hobby seminars, and a welcoming community for gamers of all kinds. In 2024, over 3,700 heroes joined us—the largest NOVA yet!
In 2025, we celebrate the 14th year of NOVA Open, tracing its roots back to a 32-player charity BBQ tournament in 2009. Since then, our legendary events have grown to include a massive Warhammer 40,000 GT and over 100 organized play events across X-Wing, Infinity, Warmachine, Malifaux, and countless other systems.
