What is about development?
Development
Adventure Time was made by Pendleton Ward. He got ideas from his time at CalArts and his work on a show called "Flapjack". He wanted the show to be funny and also have nice parts. He got inspiration from a movie called "My Neighbor Totoro".
The show started as a short film. It was only seven minutes long and Ward made it mostly by himself. A lot of people saw it online and liked it.
Cartoon Network wanted to make a whole show but they weren't sure if it would be good. So, they asked Ward to show them more of his ideas. Ward worked with his friends Patrick and Adam to make more stories. The first idea they made wasn't good, but the next one was great! Cartoon Network agreed to make a whole season.
But Cartoon Network still had some doubts. They asked a lot of questions about the show. So, they stopped making the show for a while. They changed some of the people who worked on the show. But in the end, Adventure Time was made and it became really popular. A lot of people liked the show.
