All the editions in this Festival obey to some criteria, namely our regulation that must be read in case you're interested in participating in our contest. Get to know our awards that can be attributed to you, of which trophies and diplomas, and also our prices. We're waiting for your inscription!

Regulation#

Pelourinho da Figueira

Rules and General Terms

  • Films must be completed from 1 January 2016 onward, whatever the genres
  • The duration of submitted works must meet the following criteria
    • Feature and Documentary – more than 60 minutes
    • Short Film (feature and documentary) – under 60 minutes
    • Video Clip – under 5 minutes
    • Schools – no length restrictions
  • Only the entry in one category by film will be validated, and who submits is free to choose the category of registration, however, the final decision will be taken by the Organization Committee.

The 2017 selection will be announced on 30th June. The Figueira Film Art subsidizes the expenses of the director or his representative, while staying in Figueira da Foz.

Linha de Apontamento

Observações

The official languages of the Festival will be Portuguese and English. Therefore films should have English or Portuguese subtitles.

FFA does not require World Première, but we will welcome and pay special attention to films which have never been screened, at least in Portugal.

The entry must be duly legalized regarding Copyrights.
