Pixar's Theory This is just a theory

the book 'the pixar theory'

The Pixar’s Theory is based on certain “studies” made by people who were completely interested in the films of this animation studio. This theory shows that all of Pixar’s films (until Brave) are connected in a world, which means that the actions occur in the same space but at different times. This Theory was made by Jon Negroni.

The first film of that time line is considered ‘Brave’, which happens in the High Middle Age. This film shows how animals act like humans. It is considered the film base of this Theory, but also the last of it. The first film of that time line is considered ‘Brave’, which happens in the High Middle Age. This film shows how animals act like humans. It is considered the film base of this Theory, but also the last of it. With this overvaluation of animal intelligence, the Theory divides its time line in two evollutions: • The evollution of the animal intelligence • The evollution of the artifical intelligence

The films are apparently connected by characters and ‘Easter Eggs’ which relate the films. Certain objects of one film will reappear on another, showing that there’s an association between them. These ‘Easter Eggs’ show connections between the films and with some help of other facts they can demonstrate the evollution of the ‘universe’ that Pixar created for its films and its time line of events.

After the film Brave, the time line continues with various films that show the evollution of animal and artificial intelligence – the animal intelligence occurs first and is followed by the artificial one. After the artifical intelligence dominates the world, humans run to the space (‘Wall-e’ film) and the machines rule the planet. Later on, the world of cars die resulting on the universe of monsters, which has its origins in survival insects (Monsters Inc.).

The film Monsters Inc. is the one who establishes the main connection with Brave because the character Boo is associated with the old witch who appears in ‘Brave’. This connection is made by the fact of Boo knowing that the world of monsters was at the distance of a door and the witch of Brave travelled through doors. Therefore, Boo is considered the old witch – but the youngest one – which makes ‘Brave’ the first and the last film of the time line.
